Lonely...I think

My two oldest boys and David just left for a trip to my MIL's house in middle TN. They go every once in a while and do "work days" at her house. She is a widow and loves getting odd jobs around the house done, and of course, the company of her son and grandsons.
They all look forward to a "men's" weekend when they go, and I look forward to time alone to catch up on housework or organizing books or reading...but maybe too much. It's funny, really. They just left about 20 minutes ago. I've walked around the house and straightened it up of all the toys and such left out, and I've done a load of laundry...and now I just don't know what to do with myself. It's waaaaay too quiet. I just might go insane without the noise of my little boys. Tate will be up soon. Heck - I might just go and wake him...
I'm terrible! I don't know what I'm going to do for two and a half more days...

A chic flick and a glass of wine. That's all you need my friend.

That's too funny! I'd love to do the first commentor's advice but being a photographer myself there is hardly time to watch movies with the tons of pics on our CF cards. LOL. I'd probably be crazy buzy frantically trying to get as much done as possible editing or just plain sorting pics, getting tangled up at the same time in thinking what needs to get done first. I am horrible at prioritizing. Some days I wish all my 4 kids would leave with hubby for a few days. I'd organize all my pics on the comp, digi scrap fav ones for friends, blog things I've been wanting to for a while and learn some HTML and change my template and find out how to add widgets, clean up my favorites folders on PC and find some fresh things for kids to do educational free on www, clean up my em folders, make a menu, new chore lists... Is that enough? Are you inspired yet?LOL! But I know that by the end of day 1 I'd be in your shoes. Been there and indeed woke up a baby to cuddle! LOL!. Enjoy your quiet time! Nice meeting you, my friend Chas's friend. I love photography too. Saw Chas a week ago and didn't get a single pic of her whole fam. Just a few kids. Wanted to visit with people instead of snapping pics. Visit my blog when you got a min. I am new at blogger too. keep it up. Post pics. Love pics!
